After time decided that this piece was finished, it became clear that what I had mostly pondered while painting this piece was this:

Talking about absolutely nothing, commenting on life as it passes by in plain spoken wisdom, to those who you know are already thinking the same thing. If talking was only for communicating, we would speak to the ones we love less and less as we begin to know their essence more and more. Sometimes talking is for the sake of being heard. For the sake of letting someone else know that you see them.
